Huppé is constantly expanding their company’s sustainability efforts too, by reducing greenhouse gasses by 104.5 tons per year, and partnering with Trees For Canada to help plant millions of trees annually in both urban and rural communities. Their leading-edge heat recovery and air exchange system also enables them to convert heat from their own stain and varnish chambers into heating for the factory itself, which reduces their natural gas consumption by 75%. Finally, by donating $4 to plant a new tree for every Huppé bed sold, this workshop partner strives to create environmental change as meaningful and long-lasting as the beautiful furniture they craft.
