Dedicated to sustainable product development and eco-friendly manufacturing, Rowe launched the EcoRowe Initiative to focus on reducing its overall environmental impact. As a result, all fabrics are produced from natural and renewable fibers, with 97% of the cotton coming from recycled materials, and their wood is harvested from replenished, domestic forests that adhere to the high standards of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative. Rowe’s eco-cushion core is not only PBDE and flame retardant-free, but made up of foam that incorporates mostly plant-based, renewable, and raw materials. In addition, they use uncoated nails and screws, recycled iron ore for their springs, 100% recycled paperboard in their arm cardboard, and unbleached ticking material.
